Become a Member
Our membership runs by the calendar year: from January 1 through to December 31. The membership fee is only $25.00 per person, or $35.00 per couple/family. You get a lot for your membership!
Some events and activities are being modified as we continue to adjust to Covid-19 Pandemic health requirements.
Knowledgeable Speakers
Each month we bring in well known presenters to inspire us on a particular focus of horticulture. We get a chance to ask questions and learn from each other.
End of Year Member Celebration
Each November we organize an amazing Evening to celebrate the year's achievements and individual successes.
Access to Workshops
We are offering 2 Flower Arranging Workshops in July and November where members can enhance their skills and create beautiful arrangements to take home! Additional fee required.
Seasonal Newsletter
Members receive an emailed full-colour newsletter full of Society news as well as additional horticulture related information on events and activities around the GTA.
Member Friendship
We are a friendly and fun group. When we get together, we share our interests and learn more about each other as we work together on a variety of projects.
Membership Tea
The only way to attend our afternoon Tea is by having a membership. The Tea will take place in August. This is a highlight event of the summer.
Community Beautification Volunteer Opportunities
We get together to enhance the beauty of Thornhill by planting and maintaining plants, shrubs and flowers at several community beautification locations. We always need many helping hands!
Welcoming All Ages
We welcome all ages to participate in our society and our events, from plant sales, to meetings, and community beautification opportunities. Enjoy the benefits of working together sharing our skills and helping to foster gardening with our youth.
Member Discounts
There are several local businesses that offer a discount to our members. You get access to the discount by showing your valid membership card.
Lending Library
We have a selection of useful horticultural books available to be borrowed by our members.
